Terms of Use
Draft. These terms are a plain-language starting point and will be reviewed before Shepherd's Hook is offered publicly.
Who we are
Shepherd's Hook is a care and follow-up app for churches. These terms apply to everyone who uses the app or this website.
Your church's account
A church signs up and invites its staff and volunteers. The church decides who has access and what each person can see, and is responsible for the information it records about its congregation.
Using the app well
- Use Shepherd's Hook only for your church's ministry and care work.
- Keep your sign-in private, and tell your church administrator if you think someone else has used it.
- Don't try to access information your role doesn't allow, or interfere with the app's security.
- Treat the people in the app with the confidentiality your church expects.
Your information
Information your church records belongs to your church. We handle it as described in our privacy policy and never sell it.
Connected services
If your church connects Planning Center or turns on optional AI features, those services are used only as described in the privacy policy and only with the permissions you give.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Shepherd's Hook running and secure, and we improve it often. Features may change over time. We'll give notice in the app before any change that significantly affects how your church uses it.
Ending use
You can delete your account in the app at any time. A church can stop using Shepherd's Hook and ask for its records to be exported or deleted.
